Come party southern style at the Bama Bike Fest. The spring event is March 11-14, 2010 and held at 16971 US Hwy 43 Forkland, Alabama. Admission is $30 and you must wear your arm bands. By the way this is an adults only (21+) party, so leave the kids at home. Make sure you have a photo ID because security will be checking for underaged persons.
Gates open to the public at 7AM Thursday morning. The folks at the Bama Bike Fest don't care if you bring your golf cart, atv, or your grannie's wheelchair. There are no support vehicle fees. Bring whatever you want. And yes that means tents, trailers, 5th wheels, RV's, campers... anything short of a mobile home is cool with promoters. Generators are welcome but they do lease spots with water and electric hook ups. And Free hot showers.
You are asked not to bring firearms or weapons of any kind. No attitudes. Come party and have a good time, or stay home. Also, please do not bring any glass bottles. Camp fires are permitted but they must be small and kept under control.
For entertainment the Bama Bike Fest has brought in the one and only, Bag Lady Sue. This is a comedy act that has been making it in the biker circle. She has performed at many of the major rallies around the country.
Music wise the main event is Big Engine. These guys have played at the Iron Horse Saloon, the Broken Spoke saloons, Bainbridge Bike Fest, Angel City, Cherokee and many many other rallies. Big Engine will be no stranger to anyone that goes to bike rallies. Big Engine will rock your socks off.
There will be mechanical bull rides, body painting, and wild contest such as...ladies nipple sizing contest, ladies over 40 wet t-shirt contest, best gogo girl contest. There will be wild and crazy biker games and a strong man and keg toss contest.
And while your not doing all this great stuff you can shop with the vendors. There will be all kinds and from different locations. One vendor, Ghost Riders Leather, is all the way from Johnson City, Tn. They display motorcycle leather apparel such as coats, vest, chaps, gloves, etc that they carry on their website at www.GhostRidersLeather.com. If you are looking for anything motorcycle related an onsite vendor is bound to carry it.
No matter what you like it will be at the Bama Bike Fest. Come on out with some friends and party to you can't party no more. This is private land so anything goes that is fun. See you there Thursday morning.
